I think I have the main design I was looking for. Using Scarm to design the layout.

 

Finished DCC sytem and decoder install!

 In April of 2024 I became interested in model railroading. Had trains sets as a kid and wanted to make one of those awesome layouts I've seen. So this all in the planning and prototype phase. It is September 2024, and I have installed a DCC system which I purchased off of eBay for $100 bucks shipping and handling. I still get excited. I have chosen Kato Uni-Track, and My first 3 locos so far have been Kato. N Scale EMDF7A Red Warbonnet, ES44AC CSX Blue, and an Amtrak P42 Anniversary mode, the lesser anniversary paint job. There are 2. Right now I am working on intuitive lighting with an Arduino micro controller, and getting ready to paint my first building. Check out what I have so far!
